Buxton School - Buxton School is located in the midst of a 140 acre tract on Stone Hill one mile from the center of Williamstown.
Founded in 1928, and conducted in Short Hills, New Jersey, for nineteen years as a day school, Buxton moved
to Williamstown in 1947. Since that time Buxton has been a four-year college preparatory boarding school for
boys and girls. All of the usual academic subjects are offered; in addition, there are both major and minor courses
in many of the creative arts.
